mask-mode CSS Property
The mask-mode property specifies how the mask image is interpreted — by alpha channel, by luminance values, or by matching the source mask element's mask-type.
.alpha-mask {
mask-mode: alpha;
}
.luma-mask {
mask-image: linear-gradient(black, white);
mask-mode: luminance;
}
match-sourceBehavior matches the mask source: if the source is an SVG <mask> element, uses its mask-type; otherwise behaves as luminance (default value).alphaAlpha channel values of the mask image are used as the mask values.luminanceLuminance values of the mask image are used as the mask values.
