מאפיין הקיצור flex-flow משלב flex-direction + flex-wrap — מגדיר כיוון ציר ראשי + אם הפריטים נגלשים.

rowdirection: שמאל-לימין.

row-reversedirection: ימין-לשמאל.

columndirection: למעלה-למטה.

column-reversedirection: למטה-למעלה.

nowrapwrap: שורה אחת.

wrapwrap: נגלש לשורות.

wrap-reversewrap: נגלש בכיוון הפוך.
